The system is properly wireless so it installs in a day with no chasing into walls and no plaster repairs, and you can add or move sensors at any time.

Sealed lithium batteries in every device last up to seven years, the system tells you in advance when any battery is getting low by name and by location, and the hub itself has a backup battery rated for at least sixteen hours so the system stays armed during a power cut.

Most domestic Ajax installs sit somewhere between an entry level kit (hub, two motion sensors, a door sensor, a key fob and an external siren) and a fully kitted system that covers the whole property including outbuildings and garages.

Larger homes often add MotionCam outdoor sensors at the perimeter, GlassProtect on bay windows, and FireProtect coverage on every floor. The Hub 2 Plus supports up to 200 devices so the system grows with you.

Where the property already has CCTV, our CCTV installation service can pair the alarm with cameras so an activation pops the relevant view up in the app. The combined CCTV plus Ajax stack is the most popular install for small businesses we work with across Essex, London, Kent and Hertfordshire.

Where the unit operates outside normal hours we will often add a MotionCam outdoor sensor at the loading bay or rear of the building, plus a StreetSiren under the eaves so any activation is impossible to ignore from the street.

Most domestic Ajax installs do not need a home visit before we quote. The Ajax Hub plus a typical complement of sensors fits a price band we can quote over the phone. You tell us the postcode, the property type and what you want covering, we tell you the price, and you book the install date in the same call. What you see is what you pay.

For 9 out of 10 domestic installs we agree the system over the phone, you book the date, we arrive in the morning, install and configure the system, register it on the Ajax cloud, and walk you through the app before we leave.
