We’re pleased to share that Hikvision has officially released a new firmware update for their NVR models – Version V5.04.066 build250620. This update brings a range of new features designed to boost system performance, enhance compatibility, and improve the user experience for both residential and commercial CCTV systems.

Hikvision continues to push forward with smarter, faster, and more reliable surveillance functionality. Here are some highlights from the latest update:
✅ ISUP 5.0 Protocol Support
You can now add Hikvision IP cameras (non-solar models) via the ISUP5.0 protocol, supporting live view, audio/video config, recording schedules, two-way audio, PTZ control, and more.
✅ Custom Arming/Disarming Schedules
Set specific arming/silent/disarming times for individual channels. Great for managing security around working hours or holidays. (Holiday scheduling available with Hik-Connect version 6.9.300.)
✅ High Frame Rate IP Camera Support
The NVR now supports high frame rate cameras such as 2MP @120fps, 4MP and 8MP @50/60fps models. Perfect for capturing fast motion in clearer detail.
✅ Multi-Channel IP Camera Setup via PoE
Add additional channels under the Video Device menu via the local GUI when using PoE. (Note: Not available via web interface.)
✅ Enhanced Alarm Email Attachments
Perimeter protection events can now include up to 3 image snapshots attached to alarm emails for faster incident verification.
